He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe MacDonald and Gertrude MacDonald (Dunn); and his siblings, Edwin, Joseph, Margaret, Tony and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine (Moriarty); his sons, Jim (Darlene) of Olds, AB and Dave (Angela) of Sherbrooke, NS; his grandchildren, Phillip, Lauren and Simon; and his siblings, Ellen Roy and Francis MacDonald (Evelyn) of Antigonish.
