He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Ann Marie Michaud (Duggan). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann (Day); his son Robert (Angela); his grandchildren, Karen MacLeod (Matthew), Bryan, Brayden Michaud, Sawyer and Taylor MacLeod; his siblings, Jean McCarthy (Mike), Giselle Carr (Lennie), Cape Jack and Craig; his stepmother Elsie Michaud; and his brother-in-law John Day. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
