It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Scott of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Farrell and Margaret Farrell (Greencorn); her stepmother Eleanora Farrell (Pelrine); her siblings, Francis "Gussie" Farrell, Anne Arsenault, Della Farrell, Lois and Rose; and her granddaughter Ashley.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Lyall Scott; her children, Shaun (Heather) of Antigonish, Chuck (Gwen) of Antigonish and Cheryl MacCormick (Keith) of Antigonish; her grandchildren, Adam (Jenn), Ryan, Robin, Jillian, Holly, Breanna, Corrine, Courtney, Kieran, Michael (Jody) and Lindsay; her great grandchildren, Payton, Zoe and Noah; and her siblings, Mae MacEachern, Joe of Antigonish, Seward (Mary Thelma) of Antigonish and Frank of Hamilton, ON. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mom was a faithful member of St. James United Church and attended service weekly throughout her life including virtual attendance during the pandemic.
