He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Francis and Jean Charlotte Arsenault (Carberry); and his siblings, Rose Marie, Edward and Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret (MacGillivray); his sons, Francis (Debbie), Bernard (Kathy), George (Janet), Vincent (Gina), Roy and Glenn (Ann); his grandchildren, Matthew, Molly, Mitchell, Maisie, John, Ben, Jenna, Trent, Sarah, Jillian, Laura, James, Chantal, Cameron and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Philip, Harrison, Juliette, Aliah, Louis, Lucas, Hayden, Raya, Leo, Zoe, Paige, Gabby, Graham, Faye and Sadie; his sisters, Joan (late Wayne), Evangeline (late Maurice), Yvonne (late Charlie) and Dianne (late Charlie); and his sister-in-law Theresa.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Ninian's Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G1Y9).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation.
