He is survived by: his pet Oscar; his sons, Kenny, Robert (Angela), Barry (Jenna), Matthew (Maia) and Grand Prairie; his grandchildren, Dillon, Justin, Kaitlin, Laura, Alison and Amelia; his great grandchild Alanna; and his siblings, Betty (Gerry), Bill Kingston (Allie), Ont, Mary Hurst, Mable Sutherland (Clarence), Barry (Lynn), Brooks, Evey Fowler (Neil), Strathmore, Alt and Larry.

Memorial donations may be made to the Antigonish Palliative Care Society.
