He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel A. J. and Anna H. MacNeil (MacPhee); and his siblings, Jack, Ron, Arnold, Maurice, James and Janette.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donald (Marilyn) and Margaret Ann (Dartmouth); his sister-in-law Helen MacNeil (Toronto); and his great-nephew Nathan MacNeil (New Zealand). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
