Nina Alma Bower Obituary

The passing of Nina Alma Bower (Antigonish, Nova Scotia) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 102. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nina Alma leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nina Alma may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Acker and Elizabeth Acker (Littlewood). She is survived by: her children, Donna Mahaney (late Mont) of Shelburne, NS and Patrick Bower (Anne); her husband Robert; and her sons, Lloyd and Terrance. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 10, great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Lochaber Community Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nina's memory may be made to the Naomi Society.
