She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Paulette and Margaret Paulette (Simon); and her brothers, Daniel, Benjamin, James and Rodney.
She is survived by: her children, Nadine Prosper (Aaron), Derrick and Vincent; her grandchildren, Casey, Jace and Drew Paulette; her sons, Trey and Benson Stevens; her sister Doris Handscomb; her foster siblings, Nelson and Janie; her godchildren, Mary Elizabeth Prosper, Crystal Johnson and Nigel Henderson; and her sisters, Linda, Anne Marie, Rita and Tricia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles.
