She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Skinner and Ida Skinner (Phee); her son Stephen; and her siblings, Joe, Tom, Bill and Hattie.
She is survived by: her sisters, Pearl Skinner of Antigonish and Rachael Troup of Toronto; her sister-in-law Rita Ash; and her grandchildren, Dwayne Parsons and Krystle MacInnis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
