Martina Hatchette Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2023, at the age of 98, Martina Hatchette of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, born in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerry; her siblings, Basil Joseph "Bud", Neil Charles, James Bertram, Bernard Patrick, Nora Patricia, Margaret Corinne and Imelda Catherine; her sons-in-law, Alex Grant and Gerry Briggs; and her great grandchild Oliver Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Paula Lowe (Al), Gwen Grant, Brierly Brook, Ann MacDonald (Bruce), Jane MacInnis (Donald), James "Jamie" (Ruth), Gerard (Sue), London, Maria Neary (Jerome), Georgeville, Elizabeth Langille (John), Melrose and David (Denise); her brother Ralph Sylvester "Vesty" MacDonald (Roberta); and her sister-in-law Dorothy West (Hatchette). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
