She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Evelyn (Wile) and Clayton Henry Allen; her husband Jerome; and her brother-in-law Harold Lunn. She is survived by: her children, Sherry MacInnis (Hendrik Lensvelt) of Freetown, PEI, Jerry (Julie Wentzell), Cathy (Eric Anderson) and Jamie (Lesley) of Smithers, BC.; and her siblings, Marjorie Lunn and Donnie (Mary).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ninian Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G2L8).
Memorial Donations may be made to the St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation (Stroke and Rehab Unit) or Ivey's Terrace Recreation Department.
