She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Patrick McCarthy; and her brother Doug Tooker. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis D Hayden (McCarthy) and Malachi P. McCarthy; her stepchildren, Wallace McCarthy, Beverly Munroe, Wayne McCarthy and Catherine McCarthy; and her stepsiblings, Benjamin Leonard and Vera Blackford. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
