He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Gottschall and Sophie Gottschall (Rossong); his wife Delima; his children, Jonathan and Kelly; his son-in-law Jake MacLellan; his stepgrandchildren, Sophie and Isaac MacLellan; his siblings, David Gottschall (Norma Haley), Francis Huntley of Saskatchewan, Kathy Pass (Eric), Linda Gottschall of Calgary and Wally Gottschall; his siblings-in-law, Barry Mattie, Vince Huntley, Thelma MacGillivray (Danny) of Tracadie, Norma Jean White (Billy) of Pomquet, Hazel Tate (Gerard) of Mattie Settlement and Mary Theresa (Kevin) of Kenzieville; and his godchildren, Derrick MacGillivray and Joni MacCulloch. He was also cherished by his family but also countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7).
