He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander MacIntyre and Philomena (MacNeil); and his brother Roderick. He is survived by: his wife Mary Leona MacIntyre (MacKenzie); his sons, Richard, Roderick (Mary Leigh), Leonard and Donald (Heather); his grandchildren, Dylan (Shanta), Kayleigh, Gracie, Alexis and Anita; and his great grandchild John Joseph Edward MacIntyre.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Martha's Regional Hospital, who took really good care of John, or to the North Shore Fire Department.
