He was predeceased by: his parents, John Angus and Margaret Anne MacDonald; and his sister Catherine. He is survived by: his sisters, Colette MacDonald, Antigonish, Christina Smith (David), Annabelle MacDonald and Toronto; his nephew Sean Smith (Kim); his great-nieces, Laura and Megan; his nephew Brian Smith (Wendy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyla and Dylan.
