With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A MacGillivary (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 18, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Cassie MacGillivary (MacDonald); and his brother Charlie. He is survived by: his daughter Cathy; and his pets, Thunder, Orville and Kitty.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrews Church.
