It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna C. Van Gestel (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 6, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilhelmus and Oda Van (Schoemakers); her children, Jenny Overmars (Tony), Wil Van Gestel (Gail), Mary Doucette, Joanne Oicle (Sandy), Tony Van Gestel (Jan), Antigonish Landing, Margie Van Gestel of Calgary, Frank Van Gestel (Joan) and Helen Van Gestel of Surrey, BC.; her grandchild Super; her spouse Antonius "Tony" Van Gestel; her daughter Suzanne Van Gestel; her granddaughter Vanda Oicle; and her siblings, Johannes Van, Miet Verhoeven, Nelly Timmermans, Mien Schellekens and Delphina Van.
