She was predeceased by: her parent Sebastian Young; her husband John D. Mills; and her stepfather Gerald Cooper. She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth Cooper (Corneally); her children, Barbara of Ottawa, Joe (Claire), Jean of Halifax, Doug (Lynda), Kate Bechler of Antigonish and Trish Hamilton (Pat) of Halifax; her grandchildren, Alana, Michael, Sheena (Chris), Lindsay (Darren), Zachary (Lindsey), Isaac, Erin (Josh) and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Lucas and Keller.
