She was predeceased by: her parents, John Archibald and Anne Ceceilia MacDougall (MacDonald); her husband John William Quirk; and her siblings, Mary Ruth Lovett (late Fred), Christine Stringer (late Lewis), Della LeBlanc (late Armand), Florence Ann Pellerin (Kenneth), William (late Helen), Dougald (late Shirley) and Carroll (Agatha).
She is survived by: her children, Clare Ann (Paul), Patrick (Barbara) and Shaun; her granddaughters, Jill (Owen), Bridget, Norah, Abigail, Clare, Rebecca and Mary Margaret; her great grandchild Ailey Jean; and her siblings, Frances MacDougall, Anne MacKenzie (Charlie), Jackie (late Jane) and Colin (Colleen).
