She was predeceased by: her parents, Lottie Power (Cahoon) and J. Stanley Power; her husband Walter Barkhouse; her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Mary; her siblings, Doris Nichols (Nick), Shirley Deal (Gordon), William Power (Audrey) and Hilma Frank (George); and her sister-in-law Jessie.
She is survived by: her children, Brian (Doreen), River Bourgeois, David (June), Clydesdale, Kimberley Hansen (Mark), Lori (Allen Dawson) and Lorraine Lays; her brother Harold Power (Marion); her grandchildren, Cara, Krista, Andrew, Amy, Nicole, Debra, Keith, Todd, Darren, Isabella Rae, Mitchell and Quinn; and her stepgrandchildren, Tracey, Angie and Jessica. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
