He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Dan and Lillian "Tilly" MacLellan (MacDonald); and his brothers, Peter, Angus and Johnny.

He is survived by: his sons, Jamie MacLellan (Ashley) of Sarnia, ON and Sandy MacLellan (Nicole) of Innisfil, ON; and his siblings, Allan Duncan "A. D." (Malignant Cove), Donnie (Lynn), Robert (Clydesdale), Gerard (Clydesdale), Tina Green (Sackville), Margie Blake (Sarnia), Millie Wessner (Washington), Anna O'Leary (Clydesdale), Eileen MacPherson (Clydesdale) and Claire Van Rooyen (Clydesdale). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

In Memoriam, donations to the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home Foundation appreciated.
