She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alex MacDonnell and Mabel MacDonnell (MacRae); her husband Lewis MacKenna; her children, Ricky, Darrell and Rita; and her siblings, James, Dan, John, Edward, Kaye MacDougall, Elsie Buchanan, Elizabeth and Mary.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Bonin (Phil), Mary Jarbek (Bob), Ralston MacDonnell (Charlene), Karen Stewart (Albert), Anna Leahy (Pat), Lewis MacDonnell (Susan), John MacDonnell (Gloria), Duncan MacDonnell (Debbie), Scott MacDonnell (Sherry) and Kendra MacDonnell; and her siblings, Ethel Garland (Paul), Annie Reid (Barrie), Ralph MacDonnell and Duncan MacDonnell (Nancy). She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Isabell's name to either of these hospitals or a charity of your choice.
