He is survived by: his parents, Doug MacLean and Kay MacLean (MacDonald); his son Ryan; his close friend Karen-Ann MacMillan; his sister Carol Ann Chisholm (Kenneth); his godson Evan; his niece Ellen Brophy (Johnathon); and his great-niece Nora. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Donations in memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
