With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helene Cecile McVicar (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 10, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Jeanne (MacLean); her husband Roderick; her daughter Carol McAulay; and her siblings, Marie MacDonald, Christine Dominique, Francis, Patrick, Anne Angelescu and Alexandre.
She is survived by: her son David; her son-in-law William; her grandchildren, Kris and Alex McAuley; and her sisters, Betty Bennett and Catherine Kowalski (MacPherson Mills). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
