She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Thomas Phillip and Helen Kearns (Koehler); her husband George Stephen Sanderson; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Mizgala. She is survived by: her sons, Eric (Megan Provost) and Brendan; her granddaughter Candace; her brother Tom Kearns; her cousin Joan MacKinny; her stepmother Betty Dirks; her half-sister Mary Dallon; and her siblings-in-law, Stephen Sanderson (Nancy), Géri McLean (Robert "Bud") and Stanley Mizgala.
