He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald B. MacDonald and Mary C. MacDonald (MacGillivray); and his father-in-law Vincent Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Rebecca (Tom Hanifen), Jennifer (Brandon Purdy) and Matt; his grandson Clay Purdy; his siblings, David (Marlene), Karen Sears (Andy), Andre (Debbie), Paul and Vincent Marchand; and his mother-in-law Catherine Jean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
