With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elinor Whitty (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 15, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent George Whitty; and her sister-in-law Marie Whitty (Arlen). She is survived by: her parent Effie Whitty (Morrison); her children, Edward "Ted" Cooper (Ashley) of Kitchener and Kate Cooper of Kitchener; her grandchildren, Jack Cooper and Jonah Cooper; and her siblings, Donald Whitty (Helen) of Toronto, Arlen Whitty (Lena Cameron) of Sydney, Janet Proctor (Walter) of Antigonish, Marian van Leeuwen (Peter) of Burnaby, BC and Ethel Whitty (Colin MacNeil) of Vancouver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
