We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2018, Eileen Gillis (Antigonish, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Alex Gillis; her child Allan Elaine; and her siblings, Roderick, Francis, Mary Kay Chabot (late Des), Eugene, Billy (late Jessie) and Lucy Perdigao.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Gillis Bedford (Ron McIsaac), Bernie Gillis Antigonish (Georgina Decoste), Andrea Gillis Halifax (David Murray) and Myrna Gillis Glen Haven (Geri Casey); her grandchildren, Christena McIsaac Halifax (Brad Olsen), Ian McIsaac Winnipeg (Stephanie George), Elizabeth McIsaac Halifax (Ian R. Macdonald), Kyle Gillis Halifax, Erin Gillis, Jeremy Gillis Halifax (Jensyn Doyle), Adrian Murray London Ontario (Laura Geddes), Moira Murray Toronto and Ben Gillis Halifax; her great grandchild Gavin Murray; and her sisters-in-law, Martha MacDonald Lakevale (late Eugene) and Maggie MacDonald (late Francis). She is also survived by brother in law Alex Perdigao (late Lucy) Center Harbor, N. H. and her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society in Eileen's memory.
