He is survived by: his friend Ed Murrin of Antigonish; his wife Margaret (Kiely); his daughters, Anne Marie McLean (Peter Robson), Marguerite Cahill (Tom) of Ancaster, ON, Maura Lee Murray (Jim) of Antigonish, NS and Sheila Smith of Calgary, AB; his daughter-in-law Rosemary Murrin of North Sydney, NS; his grandchildren, Amy (Matt), Allison (Mike), Kiely, Brad (Jessica), Mark (Christine), Ryan (Izzy), Chris (Erin), Stephanie (Nick), Beth, Erin, Lyndon, Sean, James and Matthew; his siblings, Gerald (Sis), Eric (Jeannette), Vernon (Lois), Dan (Rose) and Dorita; and his sister-in-law Heather. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
