He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Cameron and Ester Cameron (MacDonald); and his siblings, Joe, Donna Feeney, Debbie Landry and Rosie Parker.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Cameron; his daughters, Donalda Armsworthy (Tony), Pleasant Valley and Stephanie MacKeen (Shawn); his grandchildren, Deanna, Katie, Stephen and Spencer; his great grandchildren, Sydney, Landon and Casey; and his siblings, Gerald, Romie and Mari Smith.

Donations in his name can be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
