He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Beaton and Annie Margaret Beaton (Beaton) of Skye Glen; his wife Doris (Wright); his brothers, Neil Dan and Stewart; and his sister-in-law Alice.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marianne Trenholm (Wesley) and Andrea Beaton (John); his grandchildren, Michael, Juliana, Katherine, Charlotte, Emma, Jacob, Matthew and Anna; his sisters, Jessie Catherine MacLean (Oren) and Susan MacDonald (Neil); his sister-in-law Lillian Beaton; and his nephew Chris Beaton.
