She is survived by: her husband John; her daughter Christie Batt-Getson (Corey); her grandchildren, Viviana, Olivia and Mitch; and her siblings, Darrel (Charlene) of Antigonish, Ginny of Antigonish, Glenn of Antigonish and Robert (Wanda) of Antigonish. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
