He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Furler and Isabel Furler; and his brother George. He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Dandurand); his children, Natasha (Stephen), Nick, Nathan (Maura) and Brierly Brook; his grandchildren, Isabel Catherine and Roman Joseph; his siblings, Bonnie (Neil), Cathy, Brenda, Heather, Carmen and Mike; his parents-in-law, Roger (Ottawa) and Doreen (Ottawa); and his sister-in-law Lynda (Pierre). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Palliative Care unit at Saint Martha's Regional Hospital would be appreciated.
