With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Gallant (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 5, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Gallant and Regina Gallant (Gallant) of Ohio West; his brother Robert; his great grandchild Amber Nicole; his brother-in-law Francis Durant; and his nephew John Durant.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Fraser; his children, George (Joy), Donald, Sheila Gottschall (Terry), Kenneth (Joe) of Antigonish and Allan (Karen); his grandchildren, Derek Dunlap (Heather), Christopher Dunlap (Sara), Allison, Ryan Gallant, Corrine, Traci and Brittany Boyton; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Hudson Edward Dunlap, Malcolm and Graham Dunlap; his sister Lillian Durant; and his nephews, Art (Terése) and Tom Saskatoon (Rufus).
Due to Covid 19 restrictions funeral has to be by invitation only because of social distancing protocols.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation in Leonard's memory.
