He was predeceased by: his mother Sophie Levangie (DeCoste); his sons, Charlie and Francis Joseph; and his siblings, Priscilla (Steve DeCoste), Jeanette (Phonse Pertus), Anita (Angus MacDougall), Idella (John Gillis), Russell and Norbert.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores (Benoit); his children, Sandra Hanlon (Mike), Colette Ross (Jack), Gwen O'Neill (Hughie), Rene (Martina), Sherwood Park, Jim (Deb) and Afton; his daughter-in-law Martina; his brother Paul; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie Benoit, Bea Young of Somerville, Mass, Pauline Pascal, Burlington, Ont and Mary Levangie of Sydney, NS.. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
