He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonius Den and Anna Van Den (Stam); his son Peter; and his brothers, Piet and Frans.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Louise (Lordly); his children, Ann (Craig Corbett), Central Caribou, Josephine, Linda MacLeod (Alan), Joan, Rosie Bowles (George), Margie (Dale Villeneuve), Edmonton and Kevin; his sister Lena; and his significant other Anita Greencorn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home or the Canadian Cancer Society.
