She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Gillis and Rita Gillis (Chisholm); and her sister Mary. She is survived by: her siblings, John (Pat) of Antigonish, David (Marlene) of Antigonish, Collie of Antigonish, Ronnie (Trish) of Antigonish, Eddie (Joanne) of Antigonish, Lorraine MacGillivray (Richard) of Riverview, NB and Teresa MacInnis (Mark) of Waverley, NS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
