It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Rovers of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 2, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Ann Rovers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Mattie-Landry and Marie Bernadette Landry (Landry); her sister Ellen Venedam; her brothers-in-law, Pat Venedam, Frank Gosbee and Bob MacMillan; her granddaughter Haylee Rovers; and her nephew Robbie MacMillan.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony; her sons, Paul (Cindy), Rene (Shelley) and Shawn (Amy); her grandchildren, Jaelyn, Andre, Ella and Oliver; and her siblings, Leo, Pomquet, Rose, Rita, Joseph (Loretta), Sylvester (Rose) and John (Margie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ste. Croix Church.
Memorial Donations may be made to Palliative Care – St. Martha's Regional Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society.
