He is survived by: his wife Laddie (MacDonald); his son Aaron (Erica); his grandsons, Alexander D. of Calgary, Samuel A of Calgary and Donald Paine of Nelson, BC; his brothers, John Allister, Blues Mills, Norman Roy (Marybelle) and Little Narrows; his sister-in-law Anna Matheson; and his nieces and nephews, Kenzie, Sheldon, Paul, Evelyn, Florence, Rodney and Ashley.
