He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Gillis and Frances Gillis (McKinnon); his daughter Janet Cunha; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his wife Joy Bray; his granddaughters, Kaidyn and Emmerson; his son Andrew Gillis (Michelle); his grandsons, Andrew and Aaron; his daughter Amy Pimentel (Mike); his grandson Jacob; his daughter Theresa Shawana (Jay); his grandchildren, Tavin, Abilene, Dakota and Harper; his daughter Lacey Hall (Ben); his grandsons, Jack and Franklin; his siblings, Barbara Hodgson (Alex), Jodey Gillis (Sharon), Brenda Angevine (Cecil) and Betty Gillis; and also Justin Cunha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, one great-great niece and three great-great nephews.
