She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sarty and Annie Sarty (Kearnes); her husband E. K. Raymond Gauthier; her sister Elizabeth; and her son-in-law John Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Gauthier of Port Royal, Barbara Dillion (Bruce) of Bomanville and Robert (Marie) of Grand Lake; her close friend Donald Smith; and her brother-in-law Byron Smith. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Donations in Marguerite's memory may be sent to the Palliative Care Unit at the Annapolis Community Health Centre.
