He was predeceased by: his parent Hugh Armstrong; his wife Myrna; and his siblings, Elizabeth Chisholm, Wilfred and David.
He is survived by: his parent Nina Armstrong (Andrews); his daughters, Kathryn Denuke (Carl) of Granville Beach, Shirley Corkum (David) of Quispamsis, NB, Ellen (Manoel) and Brazil; his grandchildren, Jonathan DeNuke (Dianne), Peter Denuke (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Fawcett (Grant), Cheryl VanReenen (David), Mark Corkum (Caitlin), Kathryn Britten (Josh), Sarah Bearss (Ryan), Beth McKay (Branden) and Stephanie Ziaser (Christoph); his sister Dorothy Slauenwhite (Robert) of Newmarket, ON; and his sister-in-law Peggy Armstrong of Granville Beach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in Donald's memory may be sent to the Activity Fund at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to a charity of one's choice.
