He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Curtis Sarty and Geraldine Sarty (Orde); his daughter Michelle Dorey (Tim); his brothers, Lawrence Sarty (Barbara), Lovett Chetwynd (Connie) and Wayne Potter; his nephew Jody Sarty (Tanya); his grandchildren, Chaylene Longmire (Ian), Tamarra Armstrong (Kyle), Brianna Caterer (Luke) and Kristyn Caterer; his daughter Carol-Dawn; and his siblings, Ronald and Lorraine.
