He was predeceased by: his father Doug Campbell of Annapolis Royal. He is survived by: his mother Donna Nauss (Campbell); his wife Sandi; his grandchild Terry Taylor; and his siblings, Kim and Mark. He is also survived by nephew and nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Annapolis Royal Volunteer Fire Department (of which Derrick was once a member) or Diabetes Canada.
