She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Braam and Elisabeth van Braam (Schroot); her son Gijs Carel; and her husband Jan. She is survived by: her children, Frank (Sandra), Arend Jan (Elaine), Elsebeth (Paul Olshefsky), Anneloes and Wouter; her grandchildren, Shawn, Stephanie Pleunis, Talia and Kyria Olshefsky; and her great grandchildren, Brooke and Miles. She is also survived by child, she grew up with an extended family that included several aunts, uncles and cousins.
