With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William L. Routledge (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 15, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Slim" and Inza (Simmons); his brother-in-law Scott; his parents-in-law, Hilda and Russell; his brother Jack; his sister-in-law Shirley; and his brother George.
He is survived by: his pet Bentley; his wife Norma (Blenkhorn); his daughters, Gayle MacKenzie (Mark) of Amherst, NS and Kim Ripley (Henry) of Truemanville, NS; his grandsons, Andrew, Justin (Jessica), Matthew, Scott (Amanda) and Corey; his great grandchild Skyler; his brother Don (Verna) of Tidnish Bridge, NS; and his siblings-in-law, Isabel of New Glasgow, NS and Keith Blenkhorn (June) of Amherst, NS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Wearing a mask, proof of double vacation and government ID is required to attend the visitation.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions can made in Bill's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Children's Wish Foundation.
