He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Collins and Dorothy Collins (Spicer); his siblings, Eddie Collins, Herb Collins, Archie Collins, Peter Spicer, Katherine Bristol (Kate) and Evelyn Rhindress; and his nephews, James "Jimmy" Collins and Herb Jr..

He is survived by: his sisters, Audrey Richards, Muriel Farrer, Sackville and Gail Roberts; his friends, Eddie Doucette, Brian Carter and Terry Hoeg; his niece Rose Emma Collins; and his great-nephew Matthew Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins.
