It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Bird (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of William Bird to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Bird and Marlon Bird (Chapman); and his siblings, Alvin (Buster), Gerald, Connie, Natalie, Audrey, Frances and June.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey Bird (Akey); his son W. Robert Bird; his stepsons, Darren Akey and James Akey; his sisters, Betty Babineau, Gwendolyn Bell and Ottawa; and his grandsons, Mason and Evan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the visitation for Bill will be a scheduled event and visitors are asked to call Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst, NS, 902-667-9906 to reserve their time for viewing on Sunday, May 10th and Monday, May 11th between the hours of 1:00 – 5:00pm.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Bill's memory can be made to the Leicester Cemetery.
