William Agnew Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Agnew (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in River Hebert, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 3, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Agnew and Doris Agnew (McEachern); his brother Donald; his nephew Rick Comeau; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Lines, Louie Dryden and Roger Porter.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Burke; his daughters, Billie-Jo Agnew-Bishop (Stephen) of Amherst and Wendie-Marie Agnew (Adam Nordin) of Calgary, AB; his siblings, Irma Lines of Amherst, Patsy Dryden of Moncton, NB, Brenda Agnew-Porter of River Hebert, NS, Fraser (Harriet) of New Glasgow, NS and Lennie of Amherst, NS; and his granddaughter Angel Anne Cole. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian cancer society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Parkinson Canada.
