With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waltraud Maria Anna Simieritsch (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 11, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Simiertsch and Gertraud Simiertsch; and her significant other Mike Seeyle. She is survived by: her siblings, Bernard Simiertsch (Alexis) and Marianne Jaffray (Ralph); and her pet Lionheart. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, LA Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice.

Waltraud entered our lives in the summer of 1971 at our farm north of Carberry, Manitoba.. Her family left the area not long after that and we’ve often wondered how her life turned out.
